Can I earn a living as an actor?
It may take several years for a beginner to earn a living as a performer. Even the most talented performers may do everything right and still not end up with acting jobs. Success in this business is an unpredictable combination of talent, training, residence, "look", energy, attitude, and the completely uncontrollable factor -- luck! You must be able to handle rejection and not take it personal!

What do I have to do to get started as an actor?
There is no single answer for how to break into the world of acting. We do everything possible to give you a platform to get started. Attending auditions in one sure way of getting your talent spotted and doing well at an acting audition is the only way you will get the actual job and get paid.

Do you guarantee acting jobs?
Acting is a serious job. Everyone wants to be on TV and many aspiring actors are disillusioned that this can happen after your first audition... it can; but then again, it can't. No casting director can guarantee you a job. This entirely depends upon your availability and suitability for the job. It takes experience at auditions and practising your acting skills to get started. Landing your first role makes it easier for you to understand client requirements for future castings.

Keeping Time: Arrive early even if the auditions are running the whole day.

Dress Appropriately: Usually, it is best to wear “business casual” attire. As a rule of the thumb, Dress for the part you are auditioning; you may not be given time to change clothes. If you are uncertain about the role you are auditioning, call ahead of time and get the correct briefing.

Know Your Stuff: If there is a script for the audition, you are expected to know your lines and will be given around two minutes to complete it in front of the casting agent/director.
